Orthopedics
Orthopaedics is a branch of medicine that deals with the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of injuries and disorders of the musculoskeletal system, which includes the bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles, and nerves. This can include conditions such as arthritis, osteoporosis, fractures, dislocations, sprains, and strains. Orthopaedic surgeons are medical doctors who specialize in performing surgeries to repair or replace bones, joints, and other parts of the musculoskeletal system. Physical therapy, medications, and other non-surgical treatments may also be used in the management of orthopaedic conditions.
